What You Will Be Doing:
- Develop the Branston grower base for potatoes and other fresh and prepared vegetables to deliver the best quality and value to all parties.
- Develop the Branston contracts model to future proof supply and reward the best growers.
- Work with the seed, agronomy and varieties teams to create a strategic plan to deliver our fewer, better, higher performing varieties plan.
- Work with the planning team to adapt procurement planning strategies based on raw material availability, seasonality and factory capacities.
- Build a strong network of importers and develop a robust long term import plan.
- Work with Branston Transport to maximise the efficient use of the fleet using effective forecasting, planning and communication.
- Develop and execute a procurement strategy for ingredients, packaging, services and goods not for resale.
What We Want From You:
- Senior level experience in Fresh Produce procurement.
- The ability to contract ingredients, services and goods not for resale.
- An excellent network within Fresh and Prepared business supply base.
- The ability to work directly with customers.
