Christian Aid Mission is seeking a forklift driver to join our fresh potato factory in Abernethy. You will play a key role in the production process, ensuring tubers make it to supermarket shelves.

Shift: Wednesday & Thursday – shift times are open to discussion.

Responsibilities

• Loading & unloading large, good vehicles with potato boxes
• Loading production lines with raw material as per daily production plan
• Moving boxes to and from storage areas
• Undertake daily pre-start checks, reporting any defects to the team leader promptly
• Be a role model for H&S, ensuring all tasks are carried out in line with company procedures

Requirements

• Valid forklift driving licence (counterbalance license desirable but not essential)
• Experience driving a forklift
• Willingness to learn and undertake on‑site training
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
