QA Team Leader – Full Time
Mash Factory – Christian Aid Mission, Branston, England, United Kingdom
We are looking for a QA Team Leader to support the operational running of our Quality department in our Mash Factory. The successful candidate must have previous experience in a food manufacturing environment and must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Previous experience leading a team is desirable; qualifications in Food Safety, HACCP, and internal auditing are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that the product meets the required specification and liaise with the Production Team to maintain efficient production without compromising quality.
- Take appropriate action when out‑of‑specification product occurs in conjunction with Production Management.
- Assist with preparation of the site for internal and external audits.
- Manage the site GMP audit system and participate in the internal auditing team.
- Record all necessary KPI information on a weekly basis.
- Manage a small team of Quality Operatives.
Qualifications
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Leadership experience with a team.
- Qualifications in Food Safety, HACCP, or internal auditing (desirable).
Shift Pattern and Hours
Week 1: Wednesday and Thursday. Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Hours: 8:00 am – 8:00 pm.
Salary
£35,544 per annum.
