Looking for an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career? Our Abernethy site is on the lookout for Trainee Forklift Drivers to join our growing team! At Branston, potatoes are our business. We supply fresh and prepared potato products to one of the UK’s largest retailers, and we’re proud of it. This role is based at our Fresh Factory, which has recently undergone major investment, including new automation and state‑of‑the‑art machinery as part of our ongoing continuous improvement plans.
Your Role Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading large goods vehicles with potato boxes
- Supplying production lines with raw materials in line with daily plans
- Moving stock safely to and from storage areas
- Carrying out daily pre‑start checks and reporting any defects
- Being a role model for Health & Safety and following all company procedures
Working Hours
We Offer The Following Shift Patterns
- Shift A Week 1: Mon Wed 06:45 – 19:30 & Sun 07:15 – 18:00
Week 2: Mon Tue 06:45 – 19:30 & Sun 07:15 – 18:00 - Shift B Week 1: Thu Fri 06:00 – 18:00 & Sat 06:00 – 17:00
Week 2: Wed Fri 06:00 – 18:00 & Sat 06:00 – 17:00
