The Role
As the Housing Services Team Leader, you will lead and inspire a team of housing officers covering our General Needs and Independent Living properties, ensuring high-quality service delivery in line with Christian Action Housing’s values and objectives. You will be responsible for managing daily operations, supporting clients, and fostering strong partnerships with stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of housing support workers, promoting a positive and collaborative team culture.
- Oversee the delivery of housing support services, ensuring compliance with organisational policies, safeguarding standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate client assessments, support plans, and risk management to ensure personalised and effective housing solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, local authorities, health and social care professionals, and partner organisations.
- Monitor service performance and prepare reports for senior management and Board, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.
- Provide coaching, supervision, and professional development opportunities for team members.
- Ensure safeguarding policies are rigorously applied and promote client safety and wellbeing at all times.
