Location: Enfield Foyer, Fore Street, Edmonton

Job Type: Part-time (20 hours over 5 days), Permanent

Salary: £13.85 per hour (FTE £27,007)

Christian Action Housing Association is proud to be a local landlord providing homes and services across the North and East London region, managing around 1600 homes. We manage mixed tenure housing stock, including independent living and the provision of supported housing accommodation and services for young people.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Administrator/Receptionist to join our team in Edmonton. This role is pivotal to our success and requires an individual who is organised, efficient, and passionate about supporting our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide a professional reception service and excellent customer service to all customers/visitors in person and on the telephone.
  • To maintain and update the in-house reception systems, folders and logs.
  • To effectively manage the administration of purchase orders, deliveries and invoices,
  • To assist in ensuring that the office and supported housing environment is safe and secure for all clients, staff and visitors in line with organisational policies and procedures especially regarding safeguarding, health and safety etc
  • To report and record any incidents, complaints or allegations of abuse to the Service Manager or other Senior Managers immediately

Requirements:

  • Good communication skills including both written and oral.
  • Excellent IT skills and an up to date knowledge of Microsoft office packages, and social media
  • Tactful and diplomatic, able to deal with sensitive situations.
  • Ability to work either alone and as part of a team
  • Good customer service skills, knowing when to seek advice for complex/difficult situations
