About the Role
We are seeking a flexible, enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our team of excellent Teaching Assistants. The successful applicant will provide individual support for a child with complex emotional and associated behavioural needs within a mainstream classroom and an EHCP with communication and interaction as a primary need.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual support to a child with complex emotional and associated behavioural needs.
- Assist teachers in promoting high standards of engagement and behaviour.
- Work as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant with specific relevance to SEN.
- Support the child’s teaching placements within the school’s mainstream classroom.
Qualifications and Experience
- Resilient and flexible with a passion for supporting children with SEND needs.
- Previous work with children is essential.
- Highly motivated team member with the skills and experience necessary to support the needs of an individual pupil.
Contract Details
The contract is expected to run until July 2029 or for the duration of the child’s time at the school. The post is 25 hours per week, term time only.
