Job Description (subject to contract)

Organisation: Christchurch Sailing Club

Title: Chef

Reporting to: Rear Commodore Hospitality

Wage: Hourly paid (rate to be agreed), 4-weekly

Purpose: To assist the Hospitality Team deliver a service to our members. There is a demand within our club to increase the hours that our kitchen is open. Our existing chef will remain with us and will job-share with a new appointment.

The new role could be full-time or part-time (say 12 hours a week).

Our kitchen is currently open every lunchtime except Mondays. We often hold afternoon and evening functions and events.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting with purchasing, menu selection, kitchen management including staff rotas, compliance with hygiene regulations. Compliance with Health & Safety Regulations.
