Christchurch Medical Practice, a training practice serving about 16,000 patients, is recruiting a salaried GP for its same day acute and urgent care service. The post centres on same-day assessment and treatment of acute presentations, with face-to-face, telephone and remote consultations, plus results and referral work. It is a permanent part-time role of four sessions (18 hours) a week, with a flexible start date. Applicants need full GMC registration and inclusion on the GP Register, and the post is subject to a DBS check.
What the job involves
- Same-day acute and urgent care consultations
- Face-to-face, telephone and remote consultations
- Prescribing safely
- Requesting and interpreting investigations
- Reviewing results and actioning clinical correspondence
- Completing referrals, reports and clinical administration
- Working with the practice, PCN and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care
Qualifications
- MBBS/MBChB or equivalent
- Fully qualified GP
Registration & licences
- Full GMC registration
- Inclusion on the GMC GP Register
