We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality & Compliance Officer to support the College's commitment to maintaining high standards of quality assurance, governance, and regulatory compliance within the UK Higher Education sector.

Working closely with senior leadership, the successful candidate will help ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality assurance frameworks, data protection legislation, governance obligations, and institutional policies. The role will support audits, reviews, policy development, risk management, compliance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives that contribute to the College's strategic objectives.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Supporting compliance with Higher Education regulatory requirements and quality assurance frameworks.
• Monitoring and maintaining compliance registers, policies, and governance records.
• Supporting internal and external audits, reviews, inspections, and regulatory reporting.
• Assisting with policy development, implementation, and review.
• Contributing to institutional risk management and assurance activities.
• Supporting compliance relating to partnerships, awarding bodies, and validating organisations.
• Assisting with UK GDPR, information governance, and data protection activities.
• Producing compliance, governance, and quality reports for senior stakeholders.
• Supporting strategic projects related to institutional development, quality enhancement, and regulatory improvement.

About You

You will have:

• Experience working in quality assurance, compliance, governance, regulation, audit, risk management, or academic administration.
• Knowledge of the UK Higher Education sector, regulatory requirements, or quality assurance frameworks.
• Experience supporting audits, reviews, inspections, compliance monitoring, or regulatory reporting.
• Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
• The ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders and manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications and Experience

We welcome applications from candidates with:

• A degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience.
• Qualifications or professional development in areas such as law, compliance, governance, quality assurance, risk management, public policy, higher education administration, or related fields.
• Experience within a Higher Education provider, university, college, awarding organisation, regulatory body, or a similarly regulated environment.
