CTK Emmanuel is part of the Christ the King Sixth Forms group of three highly successful Catholic sixth forms located in south east London and Kent. In 2023 the Sixth Form was rated Good with Outstanding features by Ofsted. As a professional centre for excellence, CTK Emmanuel offers Applied Technical Qualifications, equivalent to 3 A Levels, and highly specialised routes to university. Job Overview

We are looking for an exceptional Teacher of Art & Design at our CTK: Emmanuel site who has the ability to deliver outstanding teaching and learning to young people aged 16-19. Experience of teaching UAL Art & Design is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding teaching, learning and assessment, stretching and challenging students to reach their potential.
  • Ensure students feel confident about their future career.
  • Support and develop teaching practice in an environment of positive encouragement and mutual respect.
  • Marking and preparation offsite to support work‑life balance.

Qualifications & Support

Welcomed applications from ECTs; tailored programme of support to complete induction year. Salary based on SFCA teaching spine points 1‑9 (£38,539 to £56,788 inclusive of London weighting).
