Salary: £25,989 - £26,403 pro rata (actual salary: £21,876 - £22,225)

Hours: 37 per week, Term Time Only

Contract Type: 1 x Permanent from September 2026 and 1 x Fixed Term from October 2026 until 31st August 2027

Location: Christ the King Catholic Primary School, Tedder Avenue, Thornaby, TS17 9HY

Exciting opportunity to work in our new 2-year-old nursery provision opening September 2026. The trust and governors wish to appoint two enthusiastic, talented and highly motivated Level 3 Teaching Assistants to join our friendly and hardworking team. The candidates should have the vision and drive to make a significant impact in school and be committed to making a difference to the lives of our children.

You will be suitably qualified to at least a full and relevant Level 3 qualification. Please refer to the Job Description and Person Specification.

Christ the King Catholic Primary School is part of the Nicholas Postgate Catholic Academy Trust (NPCAT), a family of 38 schools that includes two sixth forms and a football academy. With more than 12,300 students and 1,500 staff, NPCAT is now one of the largest multi-academy trusts in the UK.
