Are you an inspiring and dedicated linguist with a passion for Modern Foreign Languages? Christ the King College is seeking a Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages to join our unique and vibrant school community. As the only joint Church of England and Catholic secondary college on the Isle of Wight, we offer a distinctive faith-based education founded on the Christian ideals of valuing every individual and caring for others. Our curriculum intent unifies both Anglican and Catholic traditions, striving to live out Gospel values while preparing students to be "the best they can possibly be" as global citizens.
The successful candidate will be a well-qualified specialist capable of delivering high-quality teaching and learning in MFL. You will:

Requirements
Essential: The ability to teach French at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Desirable: Experience or the ability to teach French at Key Stage 5. The ability to teach Spanish; whilst the College currently only offers French, we are planning and hoping to expand our curriculum to offer Spanish in the future.

Whilst the vacancy is advertised as Main Scale teaching post, for the right candidate with relevant extensive experience, Upper Pay Scale pay can also be offered for colleagues able and willing to contribute to whole-school development, such as leading on initiatives or mentoring/coaching other teachers.
The school has over 1,100 students on roll, including a Sixth Form College of about 200 students. It is a well-established comprehensive school, which is well supported by parents and highly respected in the community.
