About the Role

  • Supporting teachers with planning, assessment and accurate recording of pupil progress.
  • Providing pastoral support; assist with pupils’ personal needs, first aid and wellbeing practices.
  • Accompanying pupils on visits and extracurricular activities and help run out-of-class provision (breaks, lunchtimes) as required.
  • Using ICT to support learning and help develop pupils’ confidence with technology.
  • Encouraging resilience, independence, and confidence in our pupils.
  • Contributing to the school’s high standards of behaviour and achievement.

This is a hands‑on role where you will have direct impact on pupils’ learning and wellbeing every day, offering a meaningful chance to directly impact children’s lives and be part of a caring, forward‑thinking school community.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is patient, caring, and enthusiastic, with a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Holds a Level 3 qualification (NVQ or equivalent) in supporting teaching and learning.
  • Has experience working with children with additional needs, including communication challenges.
  • Understands the primary curriculum and can adapt support to meet diverse pupil needs.
  • Works well as part of a team and values collaboration.
