Do you long to see children encounter Jesus and families flourish in their faith? At Christ Church Clifton, we believe God is doing something exciting in this generation - and we’re looking for someone to help lead and grow our ministry with children and families into its next season. We are a vibrant and welcoming Anglican church in Bristol, part of the New Wine family of churches, and with a deep commitment to helping people find and follow Jesus wholeheartedly.

Our children’s ministry is already thriving, with around 100 children connected to church life and a fantastic team of volunteers - and we believe there is so much more to come. This is more than a job - it’s an opportunity to shape a growing ministry.

As our Children’s and Families Pastor, you will…

  • Lead and develop our ministry for children aged 0-11
  • Build, inspire, and grow a team of committed volunteers
  • Create engaging, faith-filled Sunday environments where children can encounter God
  • Equip and support parents in discipling their children
  • Explore new opportunities to connect with families in our wider community

You’ll be joining a supportive and prayerful staff team, working in a culture that values worship, relationship, and spiritual growth. You’ll have space to lead, innovate, and develop both personally and professionally.

What we offer…

  • 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • A collaborative, encouraging team environment

We are open to both full-time and part-time applications and would love to shape the role around the right person. Come and explore the opportunity. We’d love to have an informal conversation with you. To arrange this, contact Mark Parsons at mark.parsons@ccweb.org.uk or call 0117 973 6524 x230. The closing date for applications is midnight on Sunday 17th May and interviews will be held on Sunday 31st May and Monday 1st June.

Christ Church Clifton is committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Christ Church Clifton follows safer recruitment practices. The successful applicant will be required to complete an enhanced disclosure (with barring data) check prior to commencement of the role.
