We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable and caring person to assist our Breakfast Club Lead to support the new free morning provision. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring children start their school day feeling safe, happy and ready to learn. You will support the lead in the day-to-day organisation and smooth running of the breakfast club, providing a warm, stimulating and inclusive environment for all pupils.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the daily operation of the Breakfast Club under the direction of the Lead
- Provide a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for children
- Deliver a range of age-appropriate activities
- Prepare and serve healthy breakfast options, adhering to food hygiene standards
- Promote positive behaviour and support children's social development
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety policies are followed at all times
- Assist with accurate registers and communication with school staff and parents
- Ensure the space is clean, organised and welcoming
The Ideal Candidate Will
- Have experience working with primary-aged children
- Be confident supporting a small team or working independently
- Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills
- Be energetic, caring and committed to supporting children's wellbeing
- Have a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- Hold (or be willing to obtain) a Food Hygiene and First Aid certificate

As a result of this, you may be required to work in another school, as business needs dictate. Visits to the school are welcomed and can be arranged via the school office.
