Christ Church is a large, lively, evangelical and charismatic Anglican church based across two sites in Abingdon, just south of Oxford. We are looking for an Operations Director to oversee the effective and efficient development of the church site and the daily operations of the church, ensuring that structures and systems are in place to meet the needs of our ministries and enable the church to grow and develop.
You will:
- be a passionate follower of Christ with a heart for facilitating ministry and mission
- have demonstrable strategic leadership capabilities and work alongside the Clergy team
- develop and deliver long term plans for our extensive buildings and facilities that support our strategic priorities for building disciples, sharing Jesus and investing in the rising generations
- ensure that we remain compliant with employment, charity, health and safety, and Church requirements
- have substantial experience in operations management including facilities, HR, H&S and finance
- have a track record of building and managing teams of paid staff, volunteers and external agencies
You would:
- work as part of a great staff team serving the wider church
- ideally worship at Christ Church and become part of the worshipping community at either of our sites
