Christ Apostolic Church, Word of His Grace is seeking a spiritually grounded, visionary, and committed Mission Director (Christian Education) to lead and coordinate our Christian education and discipleship mandate in alignment with the mission, doctrine, and values of the Church.
The Mission Director (Christian Education) will provide strategic leadership for Christian education, discipleship, and mission-focused teaching programmes within the church and its outreach arms. The role exists to ensure sound biblical teaching, spiritual formation, and effective training of members for service and mission.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, coordinate, and oversee Christian education programmes across all age groups (children, youth, and adults).
- Provide leadership and direction for discipleship, Bible study, Sunday school, and leadership training initiatives.
- Ensure all teaching materials and curricula align with biblical doctrine and the Christ Apostolic Church faith and practices.
- Train, mentor, and support teachers, facilitators, and ministry leaders involved in Christian education.
- Promote mission awareness through teaching, seminars, workshops, and outreach-oriented programmes.
- Work collaboratively with the Senior Pastor, church leadership, and ministry heads to integrate education into the wider mission of the church.
- Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve Christian education programmes.
- Represent the church in mission and education-related forums, partnerships, and events as required.
- Prepare reports and strategic plans related to Christian education and mission development.
- A strong personal Christian faith with a clear calling to ministry and Christian education.
- Sound knowledge of the Bible, Christian doctrine, and church-based education.
- Proven experience in teaching, discipleship, or Christian education ministry.
- Leadership ability with strong organisational and communication skills.
- A heart for missions, evangelism, and spiritual formation.
- Formal theological or Christian education training.
- Experience working within a structured church or denominational setting.
- Experience developing curricula or training programmes.
The Mission Director (Christian Education) will report to the Senior Pastor and Church Leadership Council.
