Overview
Strengthening and developing discipleship ministries in a multi-cultural setting.
Responsibilities
- Adapting current and future teaching ministries onto an online platform.
- Assist ministry leaders by helping them achieve their objectives.
- Teach, share, and preach the word of God in a number of different settings.
- Research / Admin work: Study and provide written critiques on current and historic sociological and theological trends within western multiculturalism and western evangelicalism.
- Youth and Children’s Work: Organise and oversee youth outreach programs. Assist in the development and oversight of a robust children’s ministry. Leading weekly worship services, Bible study, small group fellowships etc. Leading discipleship and mentoring classes.
- Missions: Develop good and appropriate relationships with the people of the community in order to mentor and support them in every needful way. Actively engage in outreach to the diverse communities in a compassionate and sensitive manner. Mobilise local churches for missions and how to engage positively with their local communities. To set up and host various evangelistic / outreach activities for diverse groups such as youth groups, elderly people, homeless etc. Promoting an inter-generational and cross-cultural ministry to the local community. Able to do home visits for the vulnerable, elderly and housebound people who need some godly encouragement, undertake counselling and prayer for all who need that form of intervention.
