This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a fast-paced environment, where your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills will make a real difference. *Responsibilities* * Perform thorough Class 4 MOT tests in accordance with legal and safety standards, accurately assessing vehicle condition. * Conduct routine vehicle repairs and maintenance, including brake checks, suspension work, exhaust diagnostics, and more. * Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to carry out repairs and inspections. * Assist with heavy lifting tasks, ensuring proper safety procedures are followed at all times. * Document all inspection results, repairs performed, and parts used clearly and accurately in company systems. * Maintain a clean, organized workshop environment to promote safety and efficiency. * Stay updated on current MOT regulations, vehicle technology advancements, and best practices in vehicle maintenance. *Qualifications* * Proven experience as a mechanic with solid mechanical knowledge of vehicles. * Valid Class 4 MOT Tester certification or equivalent qualification. * Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of routine tasks. * Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. * Good communication skills to explain issues clearly to team members and customers. * Commitment to adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
