Overview

We are a family run Heavy Plant hire specialist with just shy of 40 machines, located in Alton Hants. We are looking for a new member to join our established business as a mobile fitter & carrying out jobs in the yard.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Fitter to work out of our Alton Depot who will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of a wide range of plant rental machines from 0.8T Mini Diggers to 30T Dumptrucks & D6 Bulldozers. The repairs and maintenance are generally conducted on site.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing & repairing issues with plant
  • Travelling to & from sites
  • Re-spraying machines (No experience necessary)
  • General servicing, maintaining & tidying machines
  • General yard tidying/cleaning

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance (OR EXPERIENCED!)
  • Full, valid driving licence with no more than 6 points
  • Able to demonstrate a full and varied knowledge of plant machinery
  • Able to work on their own initiative
  • Able to work as a team and take on other people\\\’s ideas as well as their own
  • Happy to get stuck into any task
  • Fairly local to Alton Hants
