We are looking for a senior home automation engineer. The role holder will therefore need to demonstrate passion by continuously improving the customer experience and deliver high quality innovative solutions.

We work for prestigious clients like the University of Oxford, Royal Palaces and County Councils and you will also be working on some of the most stunning residential properties in the region. You will set the standard with the rest of the engineering team through hard work, determination, and enthusiasm to provide the best service possible.

We will absolutely require someone who can program Control4 and Lutron as well as having a thorough understanding of networking. You will be passionate about technology and demonstrate a commitment to deliver world class customer service. We value staff progression and in return will provide opportunities to develop skills in integration and automation with on-the-job training and certified courses.

What are we expecting from you?

  • Residential and commercial AV Engineer, working on a wide range of projects across installation and service, within a given timeframe.
  • To provide support of home automation and audio-visual systems installed in the field, including support takeovers of 3rd party installations.
  • Keep up-to-date on technical requirements and industry standards, identifying training needs.
  • To work with and modify installation drawings, schematics and system audit documentation.
  • Ensuring systems are installed to a professional level and that all work carried out is to our design and client’s needs.
  • Ensuring issues are dealt with correctly and efficiently and report/escalate where required.
  • Identifying opportunities and generating leads for system upgrades and maintenance support contracts.
  • Contact with customers, visiting customer premises where care must be taken at all times to respect the client’s property and confidentiality, and ensure the right company image is portrayed.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Control4 Automation Programmer Certification.
  • Lutron Homeworks QS Programmer Certification.
  • Electrical Qualifications are desirable.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Home Automation or Audio-Visual role.
  • Experience in high-end residential sector preferred.
