Investment Analyst

Are you looking to build your career in a leading Investment house during an exciting period of expansion? If so, this could be the role for you.

Our client is a well-established, award-winning Private Equity house, now seeking an ambitious and commercially minded Investment Analyst to join their Nottingham team.

We are looking for candidates with around 1–2 years of deal or analytical experience, ideally in the mid-market. This could come from Private Equity, Venture Capital, Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, Investment Banking, Consulting, or another deal-focused environment that demands strong analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse companies and markets, producing high-quality reports and insights
  • Identify and assess potential investment opportunities
  • Contribute to pitches, business plans, and investment committee proposals
  • Monitor sector trends and investment themes, collating relevant research and market intelligence
  • Conduct company and sector valuations
  • Support deal origination and marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with colleagues across offices and teams as required

You’ll be joining a close-knit, dynamic team, working on a broad range of UK and international mid-market investments.

About You

  • Strong academic background with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal
  • Commercially astute, with a genuine interest in business and investment
  • Prior Private Equity experience is not essential, but a demonstrable passion for deals and investment is key
  • You have links to the East Midlands and a keen desire to build your Investing career in the region
