Job Overview
Our client is a highly successful Corporate Finance team within their offices in Birmingham, currently experiencing a period of exceptional growth. To support this expansion, they are seeking a driven and ambitious Corporate Finance Manager or Associate Director to play a key role in delivering and leading transactions.
This position is ideal for a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA) with several years’ post‑qualification experience in a deals environment. You’ll gain exposure to a diverse range of lead advisory projects, including MBOs, MBIs, acquisitions, disposals, capital and debt raises and strategic advisory assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing businesses for sale and producing high‑quality financial information
- Supporting business planning for PE‑backed transactions
- Conducting buyer research, screening, and engagement
- Assessing and managing bidders
- Contributing to legal and completion processes
Qualifications and Experience
As Manager or Associate Director, you’ll bring a proven track record in leading sell and buy‑side transactions, or the confidence and capability to take on this responsibility. The ideal candidate will have trained with a leading firm, possess strong academic credentials, and demonstrate excellent communication and relationship‑building skills. You will help to manage a very high‑performing and engaged junior team so you must be able to rise to this challenge and inspire.
