Our client is a well-established and expanding Corporate Finance boutique, currently seeking an ambitious individual to join their Birmingham team during this exciting period of growth.
The Role
This opportunity is ideal for a recently qualified ACA/ACCA professional—or someone with post-qualification experience—who is eager to develop their career in Corporate Finance. As part of a collaborative and close-knit team, you will play a key role in a variety of lead advisory transactions, including:
- Management Buyouts (MBOs) and Management Buy-Ins (MBIs)
- Acquisitions and disposals
- Fundraising and strategic advisory projects
While most clients are UK-based, you’ll also gain exposure to international assignments through the firm’s strong global network of Corporate Finance boutiques and investment banks.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your work will be diverse and challenging, including:
- Preparing commercial analysis and business plans for presentation to financial institutions and acquisitive clients
- Drafting information memoranda and pitch presentations
- Supporting negotiations and contract discussions
- Assisting with business development initiatives
What We’re Looking For
A strong academic background and qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA). Excellent communication skills and high integrity. A solid understanding of accounting principles combined with strong commercial awareness. Prior lead advisory experience is not essential. Experience in Transaction Services or deal-related work is advantageous, but candidates moving directly from audit will also be considered, provided they demonstrate the right commercial mindset.
