Our client is a growing medium sized firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors. Following significant investment, the firm has ambitious growth plans for its Transaction Services function across the UK. As part of this expansion, they are seeking experienced, qualified accountants to join their Birmingham team at Associate Director or Director level.
The role will involve:
- Leading and managing a broad range of Transaction Services engagements
- Working across Corporate and Private Equity clients, including cross-border transactions
- Delivering high-quality financial due diligence and capital markets reports
- Supporting and driving business development initiatives
- Presenting findings to senior stakeholders and clients
- Growing, mentoring and developing high-performing Transaction Services teams
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 5 years' experience in Transaction Services or a related discipline
- Experience operating at Associate Director or Director level within a medium or large firm, or in a senior commercial role in industry
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse and interpret complex financial data
- Experience working with complex business models and producing concise, insightful reports
- A demonstrable track record in business development (particularly at Director level)
- An established client network or the ability to develop one
