Our client is a well-established international Corporate Finance House in Birmingham who is looking to bolster their team with an entrepreneurial and dynamic graduate. They are seeking individuals who have recently come out of University with a 2.1 or higher degree, ideally business or finance related, who are looking to start their career within Corporate Finance. They will also consider individuals who have a year or two of business experience post graduating.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Identify and screen UK and International buyers
- Analyse and prepare reports on companies and markets
- Identify acquisition targets for corporate clients and financial institutions
- Prepare key elements of pitches, business plans and shareholder options documents
- Maintain sector coverage, tracking trends and investment themes, collating research notes, news articles and blogs
- Undertake company and sector valuations
In time as you learn you will start to play a key role with a variety of different lead advisory transactions, including MBOs, MBIs, acquisitions, disposals, restructuring, raising finance and general strategic advice for clients. You will have the opportunity to work on both UK and cross border transactions.
The successful candidates will have a strong academic background and excellent communication skills are a prerequisite. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established team who are going through an exciting period of growth. You will also be rewarded with a lucrative bonus structure based on successful performance within the firm. You will also be supported towards the ACA qualification.
