Management Accountant required to advise the General Manager and other senior managers on financial matters, monitor cash flow and financial performance of each department. Maintain a sound financial base for the dealership to ensure compliance with group accounting directives and control company funds and assets.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare accurate and timely dealership accounts.
- Monitor cash flow and budgetary position of all departments on a weekly/monthly basis.
- Maintain good credit control and sound accounting procedures and systems.
- Assist other managers with the financial management of their departments.
- Prepare annual budgets in conjunction with departmental managers for submission to head office.
- Submit weekly operating controls to head office.
- Prepare quarterly VAT returns, pay monthly PAYE to Inland Revenue, review payroll output, maintain the company asset register, and review new and used vehicle stocks regularly.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the finance department personnel and vehicle administrators.
- Recruit and train administrative staff.
- Prepare and submit monthly dealer composites to manufacturers.
Must be skilled in the Autoline Kerridge system. ONLY CANDIDATES WITH PREVIOUS MOTOR RETAIL EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION.
