Specialist Recruitment Consultants to the Automotive Industry

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Accountant - to ensure the smooth running of the finance function and delivering accurate timely financial information including preparing Monthly Accounts, Budgets, Re-Forecasts, VAT/Tax computations and delivering within agreed time-scales.
  • IFC Submissions for Head Office.
  • Management of reporting systems.
  • Accurate reconciliations including management of the bank daily balance position.
  • Internal Control system adherence - ensure management are aware of potential issues.
  • External / Internal Audit liaison.
  • Contribute ideas to increase the efficiencies of the policies/systems which already exist within the Accounts team, whilst adhering to the current processes.
  • Reporting of accurate and timely financial information, debt resolution, bank position, audit reporting, ICS issues.
  • Managing People and Performance, problem solving and decision making.
  • Extensive knowledge of Drive/Kerridge Dealer Management System.
  • Experience of Motor Industry Accounting is essential.
