Assistant Accountant required to prepare and post daily banking ready for sign off by Accountant, prepare and post information from payment journal and bank statement. Prepare & post Bank Reconciliation ready for sign off by Accountant, raise all site cheques ensuring all correct documentation and authority is obtained thereby ensuring timely submission to Hub Site. Register purchase invoices ensuring accompanied by valid purchase order. Control of site petty cash. Co-ordinate flow of documentation/post and ensure all internal and external customers and suppliers are handled with courtesy and ensure the company experience is delivered to all finance and administration contacts at all times.
You will have experience of working within a dealership/automotive accounts department. Good background in most aspects of the administration function. IT literate with training/knowledge of the Kerridge computer system. Ability to cope with tight deadlines maintaining accuracy. Basic VAT/tax knowledge. Professional manner with good communication skills.
ONLY CANDIDATES WITH PREVIOUS MOTOR RETAIL EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION.
