Chris Browning Personal Training is a premium London-based mobile personal training service delivering high-quality coaching to private clients across the capital. We are expanding our team and seeking experienced, passionate Personal Trainers to work with us. This is a self-employed role offering flexible scheduling and client opportunities. Applicants must be registered (or willing to register) as self-employed.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, personalised training sessions in clients’ homes, workplaces, or selected outdoor locations across London.
- Conduct fitness assessments and consultations to evaluate clients' health history, current ability, and long-term goals.
- Design and implement bespoke, progressive training programmes tailored to each client’s needs.
- Build strong client relationships that encourage consistency, accountability, and long-term results.
- Maintain accurate records of clients' progress, including session notes, measurements, and goal tracking.
- Ensure the highest standards of safety, exercise technique, and professionalism at all times.
- Manage your own timetable.
- Handle personal administration, including scheduling and record keeping.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry research and best practices in fitness training, to provide clients with an exceptional experience and outstanding results.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Personal Trainer (gym-based or mobile).
- Level 3 Personal Training qualification (minimum).
- Valid First Aid certification.
- Public Liability Insurance.
- Self-employed status (or willingness to register as self-employed).
- Exceptional knowledge of exercise physiology and anatomy.
- Excellent coaching, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly skilled in client programme design.
- Ability to maintain strict safety standards and correct exercise technique.
- Self-motivated and a proactive approach to professional development.
- Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, to accommodate clients' availability.
- Ability to travel to clients' preferred locations in London.
Desirable:
- Nutrition qualification or other relevant wellness certifications.
- Degree in Sports Science or related discipline.
- Specialist qualifications in women’s health (including pre- and post-natal training).
