Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver a variety of Building Surveying services, including:
- Dilapidations – representing both landlords and tenants, including advice, preparation, and negotiation.
- Technical Due Diligence – conducting surveys and preparing reports for acquisitions, disposals, and refinancing.
- Design & Contract Administration – managing refurbishment and fit‐out projects from inception to completion.
- Project Management and Employer's Agent duties across commercial projects.
- Defect Analysis, Schedules of Condition, and PPM reporting.
- Reinstatement Cost Assessments and feasibility studies.

- Strong technical, contractual, and regulatory knowledge, particularly within commercial Building Surveying.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client‐focused approach.
- Commercially astute with a sound understanding of market trends and client priorities.
- Organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Team‐oriented, with a commitment to collaboration across CHPK and Propitas.
- Confident representing CHPK Group at client and industry events.
- Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to travel to sites across London and occasionally nationwide.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
- MRICS qualification (essential).
- Minimum of 5 years' post‐qualification experience within a consultancy environment.
- Proven experience delivering commercial building surveying services including dilapidations, TDD, and contract administration.
- Experience acting as Project Manager or Employer's Agent.
- Strong working knowledge of JCT and NEC contract suites.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Deltek PIM is advantageous.
- Full UK driving licence.
