Location: London/Home counties - Hybrid
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead fire engineering projects from concept through to completion
- Develop and review fire strategies for complex and high-profile buildings
- Act as primary point of contact for clients and design teams
- Manage and mentor junior engineers and consultants
- Contribute to business development and tendering
- Support the technical direction and commercial performance of the team
- Ensure compliance with current UK fire safety regulations, including BS 9999, BS 9991, and ADB
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:
- Degree-qualified in Fire Engineering or a related field
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working toward it
- At least 8 years of experience in fire engineering consultancy
- In-depth knowledge of UK building regulations and fire codes
- Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills
- Experience working on large and complex developments
- Passion for mentoring and developing teams
