Role Description
The Director/Associate Director will lead and oversee consultancy projects within CHPK Group’s Fire Engineering and external wall consultancy , ensuring high-quality delivery and strong client relationships. In this full-time, on-site role based in London, the individual will manage project teams, coordinate resources, provide strategic guidance, act as a key point of contact, QA, and sign off design documents for clients from inception to completion. Responsibilities include shaping and reviewing project scopes, monitoring performance and budgets, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and contributing to continuous improvement across the business. The Director/Associate Director will support business development activities, mentor and develop team members, and collaborate with other directors to drive growth and maintain the company’s reputation for excellence.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience directing multidisciplinary project teams and mentoring colleagues.
- Proven expertise in Fire Engineering and external wall consultancy consultancy.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, including planning, budgeting, risk management, and delivery to agreed time, quality assurance, and cost.
- Excellent client-facing skills, including stakeholder management, relationship building, negotiation, and clear communication across all levels.
- In-depth understanding of relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with sound commercial awareness and a focus on value and quality.
- MiFireE and CEng.
- Ability to work on-site in London on a full-time basis and collaborate effectively with regional teams across the UK.
