The Vacancy

We are looking for a Business Support Administrator on a part time basis of 30 hours per week, for a 10 month fixed term contract, who will play a key part in delivering efficient and effective administrative support to all CHP teams. You will provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment, while driving continuous improvement in service delivery.

What you\’ll be doing

  • Efficiently manage incoming and outgoing post, including scanning, distribution, and processing of parcels, as well as coordinating courier services when needed.
  • Provide full business support including printing, scanning, document storage, mail mergers, meeting room bookings, travel arrangements, key and fob administration, and stock management of stationery.
  • Handle enquiries from customers via Helpdesk and email, welcome visitors and monitor door security.
  • Assist with vehicle maintenance, hire arrangements, accident reporting, and drivers\’ compliance checks.
  • Support fire alarm tests, health and safety checks, and ensure a safe workplace for all.

What we are looking for

  • Experience of office systems and procedures
  • High level of computer literacy including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Able to prioritise work and manage conflicting deadlines.
  • Experience of working in a customer focused environment.
  • Self-motivation with the ability to use own initiative.
  • Work flexibly as a member of the team.

  • 30 hours per week – employees may be able to work flexibly by agreement with their line manager, taking account of business need. We operate a hybrid working policy at CHP.
