Role Overview: We are seeking experienced Tier 3 Care Workers to provide specialist complex care at home. The role involves supporting individuals with advanced neurological conditions, full dependency for daily living activities, tracheostomy and ventilator management, PEG feeding, and comprehensive personal care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver person-centred care in line with care plans
  • Full support with all activities of daily living
  • Tracheostomy care and management
  • Use and monitoring of cough assist machines
  • NIPPY 4+ ventilator support
  • Humidification processes
  • Oral and deep suctioning techniques
  • Oxygen therapy administration
  • PEG feeding and medication administration via PEG
  • Monitor condition and respond to changes appropriately
  • Maintain accurate care records
  • Collaborate with family and healthcare professionals
  • Adhere to strict infection control procedures

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year's experience providing complex care
  • Proven experience with:
  • Tracheostomy care
  • Ventilation support (NIPPY 4+ or similar)
  • PEG feeding and medication administration
  • Suctioning techniques
  • Oxygen therapy
  • Strong infection control proficiency
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable approach
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
  • Desirable:

    • Experience supporting individuals with Multiple Sclerosis or other neurological conditions
    • NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)

    • Enhanced DBS check (Adults and Children)
    • Minimum two professional references covering the last 3 years
    • Verification of identity and right to work in the UK
    • Verification of relevant health and social care qualifications
    • Declaration of any cautions, convictions, or professional sanctions
    • Confirmation of eligibility to work with vulnerable adults

    Shift Details & Pay Rates:

    • Night shifts (Weekdays & Weekends): £17.07 per hour
    • Day shifts (Weekdays & Weekends): £15- £17 per hour
