Position: Senior Care Worker

Salary: £13.25 Per hour

Hours: 40 hrs per week

Location: At patients house / Care settings

About the role:

Chosen Care Group is currently recruiting Senior Care Workers with a minimum of one to two years of experience in care. You need level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, effective communication skills, and be prepared to work flexibly to meet our patient needs in the community. We are passionate about making people's lives better, and we treat our patients and communities as our families since we value their concerns.

Main duties:

  • Deliver personal care, PEG, catheter care, and oral suctioning for our patients in their own home.
  • Deliver high-quality care in the community for our patients including COVID-19 infected, complex needs, learning disabilities, dementia, elderly, and children.
  • Administer medication to our patients and fill MAR Sheet.
  • Maintain care records up to date.
  • Liaise with family and professionals concerning patient needs and wellbeing.
  • Carry out planned and unplanned spot checks in the community.
  • Supervise and train care assistants to mobilise services.
