We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of Computing to join our fantastic team at Chorlton High School. This is a fixed term post for 1 academic term, starting September 2026 until December 2026 (Autumn Term) on Teaching terms MPS-UPS. Chorlton High School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Computing to join our forward-thinking and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to deliver high-quality teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop their knowledge and skills in Computing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver outstanding Computing lessons that meet the needs of all learners
  • Teach a broad and balanced curriculum, including areas such as programming, digital literacy, and computer science
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing effective feedback to support achievement
  • Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student wellbeing and engagement
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and drive continuous improvement
