Chorley Group are a family owned motor dealer group, and following significant expansion at our flagship Blackpool location, we have an opportunity in the aftersales team, as a service advisor.
For the Service Advisor role, we’re looking for someone with a customer service background, keen to deliver excellent client experiences in the showroom. Whilst having worked in a similar role in a motor dealership will be advantageous, it isn’t essential.
The role of Service Advisor is the public face of the aftersales department, and you will be providing a working relationship between service customers and the workshop department, ensuring excellent communication is maintained at all times and that customers get an excellent experience using our Chorley Group service departments, as well as the branch as a whole.
Other responsibilities for the role are:
- Dealing with necessary paperwork
- Preserving a high level of housekeeping at all times
- Maintaining communication with the customer whilst their vehicle is being serviced/repaired
- Processing payments and follow up actions
What we are looking for:
- Experience in the motor industry and/or service advisor role is preferred but not essential
- No specific qualifications needed
- A good level of computer literacy
- Someone who has a passion to make things work – keep moving forward to reach the finish line every day
- Ability to work under pressure
