As a family run business at Chorley Group, our Clients are at the heart of everything we do. We have an exciting opportunity to join a new fast-paced Contact Centre Team at Preston, answering inbound Sales and Aftersales calls. We are looking for confident, client-focused people who are passionate about delivering the Chorley Group Experience and bringing our values to life. You will be joining a team of skilled and knowledgeable advisors who will help you to succeed as you learn the role.

What you will be doing:

  • Managing digital enquiries, including live chat, email, and online lead submissions, ensuring timely and professional responses
  • Following a structured qualification process to accurately assess client needs and route enquiries appropriately
  • Creating and booking appointment opportunities for the Sales team
  • Building strong relationships with colleagues across the business, supporting one another to deliver the best possible customer experience
  • Providing assistance, advice, and support, handling objections where necessary
  • Managing client expectations and clearly explaining the next steps in their journey with us
  • Being memorable, for all the right reasons!

What will make you a success in this role?

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a confident and friendly telephone manner
  • Strong listening skills; our customers need to feel heard and understood
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in telephone, digital, or face-to-face customer contact, including live chat or online enquiries
  • A clear understanding of what great customer service looks like, making clients feel welcomed, valued, and supported
  • Car sales or aftersales knowledge is an advantage, but not essential - full training will be provided
