We are recruiting for a New and Used Car Sales Manager to lead the team at our Wigan Citroen & Peugeot and Used Car Centre. You’ll guide a motivated team across multiple brands and vehicle types, working closely with our centralised client services, marketing, and leadership functions to create seamless client journeys and deliver consistently strong commercial performance

The Role
As Sales Manager, you’ll lead by example and ensure the team delivers on performance, compliance and client care. You’ll manage the full sales cycle for both new and used vehicles, motivating your team to hit targets while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading, coaching, and inspiring your team of Sales Executives
- Monitoring KPIs and performance metrics to maximise conversion and profit
- Managing stock, appraisals, part-exchanges, and used car prep/retail readiness
- Supporting marketing activity and stock campaigns
- Promoting FCA-compliant behaviour and accurate CRM usage
- Enhancing the client journey – from first enquiry to final handover
- Supporting recruitment, induction, and ongoing training for the team
- Collaborating with our Client Services Team to ensure fast response and seamless transitions
- Being a visible, values-led leader on site every day
Who we are looking for
- The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience in a Sales Manager or senior leadership role in a main dealer or group - ideally with Stellantis and / or Nissan knowledge
- Strong knowledge of new and used vehicle operations
- Demonstrable success hitting volume, profit, and satisfaction targets
- In-depth understanding of FCA regulations and client compliance
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Confident with CRM and DMS platforms (e.g. Keyloop/DealerWeb)
- Full UK driving licence
