What will I be responsible for?

As Aftersales Manager, you will oversee our established aftersales operations, leading and developing a team of technicians, service advisors and parts advisors to achieve business objectives and maintain the highest standards of customer service.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, motivating and developing the aftersales team to maximise performance and achieve departmental targets.

  • Managing departmental costs, ensuring profit targets are achieved, margins are maintained and resources are used effectively.
  • Delivering an excellent customer experience, ensuring customer concerns are handled promptly, professionally and effectively.
  • Setting and monitoring targets in line with manufacturer standards and dealership objectives.
  • Ensuring all company policies, processes and procedures are followed, maintaining full legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Promoting and embedding Chorley Group's values within the department.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with all relevant Health and Safety requirements.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a commercially minded, hands-on leader with proven experience as an Aftersales Manager within a franchised automotive dealership.

You will have the ability to inspire your team, improve departmental performance and deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining a strong focus on profitability and operational efficiency.

Ideally, you will also have:

  • Experience working with Nissan and/or Stellantis franchises.
  • Knowledge of Kerridge and RTC systems, although this is not essential.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with a proactive approach to developing and motivating a team.
  • A customer-focused attitude and the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage budgets, costs and performance targets.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced dealership environment.
  • A professional approach and a commitment to delivering high standards in everything you do.

What do we offer?

  • At Chorley Group, we recognise the importance of attracting and retaining talented people. In return, you can expect:
  • Competitive earnings of Β£50,000–£70,000 OTE per annum.
  • Holiday entitlement that increases with length of service.
  • A comprehensive company benefits package, including life assurance, permanent health insurance, pension and employee assistance programme.
  • Access to our company vehicle lease scheme.
  • The opportunity to join an established, family-owned motor group with continued opportunities for growth and development.
