About The Role
Role: Streetscene Operative
Location: South Ribble
Contract: Part Time (24.5 hours per week) / Fixed Term Contract (12 months)
Salary: £26,824 – £27,254 (£18,120 – £18,410 pro rata)

We are looking for a horticulturist with a good basic knowledge of plants and plant care to join our dedicated team on the green flag award winning Worden Park. In this role, you will be working within the park, mainly on the Formal Gardens. You will be ensuring that the gardens are well kept and are in perfect condition for the residents, wider community, and visitors to the borough.
What will your role include
- Gardening, pruning and dead heading
- Knowledge of plant health
- Planting such as carpet bedding and seasonal plants
- Knowledge of greenhouse works

- You will be helping keep community spaces looking their best, so we are looking for someone who can really take pride in their work.
- A team player and good communicator
- You will be operating various vehicles in this role, so you will need to have a valid clean driving licence
