About The Role

Location: Chorley Leisure

Contract: Part Time (up to 8 hours per week) / Permanent

Salary: £28,678 - £29,134 (£13.75 - £13.92 per hour)

Chorley Leisure are seeking self‑motivated and enthusiastic individuals who have a passion for sport, fitness and leisure to join the teams across our four leisure venues. This is a great opportunity to support the delivery of community leisure to residents in the Chorley Borough. Successful candidates will hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.

What you’ll be getting up to

  • Leisure Attendants are responsible for the day‑to‑day running of the facility, with duties including:
  • Customer service including managing bookings & answering enquiries
  • Ensuring supervision is always maintained of the pool and leisure facilities
  • Managing reception till having financial responsibilities such as taking payments and bookings
  • Supporting the Duty Manager in supervising day‑to‑day health and safety, monitoring checks & standards
  • Providing a clean and enjoyable environment by maintaining housekeeping across the sites

Who we’re looking for

You must be self‑motivated and able to work independently to maintain high levels of Safety, Service and Standards. You will be experienced in working in a customer‑facing environment and have excellent customer service and problem‑solving skills. You will have a pro‑active attitude to health and safety and be comfortable in working with members of the public – we are looking for confident and positive additions to our team!

Other requirements

This role requires an Enhanced DBS check (facilitated by Chorley Leisure).
