Astley Hall and Worden Hall are premier venues for weddings and functions, known for their exceptional service and beautiful settings. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Wedding and Functions Planner to join our team and help us continue to deliver unforgettable experiences for our customers. Role: Wedding and Functions Planner
Location: South Ribble and Chorley
Contract: Full time (36.25 hours per week) / Fixed Term Contract (12 months)
Salary: £29,540 - £31,022 (pay award pending)

What you’ll be getting up to:
- You will coordinate and be a point of contact for bookings at Astley Hall and Worden Hall, managing emails, phone and web enquiries, providing an excellent level of customer service.
- You will provide excellent customer service, managing event logistics, and ensuring the smooth running of booked events.
- You will work closely with the Business Development Manager, Wedding and Functions Lead and preferred suppliers, and casual staff to deliver high-quality events.
- You will liaise with caterers and other function suppliers to ensure the smooth running of booked events.
- You will gather and utilise customer feedback to improve our service delivery.
- You will perform Duty Manager responsibilities during events and conduct venue viewings.
Who we’re looking for:
- Someone who is able to create and maintain excellent relationships with customers and businesses.
- Has a keen interest in weddings and functions.
- Has experience working in hospitality/events.
- Delivers an excellent level of customer service.
- Has great communication skills and can build positive relationships.
Other requirements:
- This role requires some travel around our boroughs.
- You should have a valid driving licence or the equivalent mobility.
