About the Role
We are looking to recruit a friendly, enthusiastic Gymnastics coach or trainee gymnastics coach on a casual basis to work across our weekly programme at the South Ribble Tennis and Fitness Centre. The successful coach will work alongside other gymnastics coaches to help teach pupils of all age and abilities to develop gymnastics skills and techniques. You will assist in the planning, preparation and delivery of a range of gymnastics lessons to all ability groups.
What you’ll be getting up to
- Working with groups of gymnasts in a fun friendly environment.
- Maintain pupil registration and records of progress.
- Opportunities to increase hours with school holiday camps and competitions.
- Provide cover for annual leave/ sickness.
- Monitor and evaluate gymnasts progress and provide feedback.
Who we’re looking for
- Level 1 or 2 General Gymnastics coach, or be able to undergo training to this level.
- Excellent time keeping and reliability.
- A passion to help all gymnastics to fulfil their potential.
- Excellent communication skills.
- The ability to work co-operatively within a team.
- Willingness to develop new skills join in with training opportunities.
Other requirements
- This role requires a DBS Check (applied and paid for by the Council)
