Black Lives in Music is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to support the organisation through its next phase of growth and impact. This is a senior leadership role for an experienced operational leader who can translate BLiM’s mission and strategy into strong day-to-day delivery.
The COO will oversee operations, people management, financial oversight, internal systems and stakeholder relationships, helping to ensure the organisation is well run, properly resourced and able to deliver its ambitious mission. The role will be key in shaping organisational culture, supporting a passionate team, and providing clarity, stability and momentum during an important period of leadership transition.
We are looking for someone with strong people management and financial skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine commitment to racial equity and systemic change. Experience within the music industry, creative industries, charity or arts sectors would be highly valuable.
