Overview
assistings Consulting have instructions to recruit an Interim Payroll Administrator.
The assignment is a 4/5 month rolling contract to support the payroll manager.
The company is a famous Hospitality and events business based close to Euston station.
The payroll system is People XD; experience with this system would be desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with processing employee wages, taxes, and deductions, ensuring timely payments via direct deposit.
- Maintain employee records, track hours, manage timesheets and keep accurate records.
- Apply knowledge of NI and PAYE in the UK to handle queries and payroll processing.
- Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, commissions, statutory payments (SSP, SMP) and deductions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Detail‑oriented, organized, excellent written and verbal communication.
- Problem‑solving and multitasking abilities.
- Experience with new starters, leavers, and year‑end procedures.
- Experience with People XD system desirable; knowledge of payroll systems acceptable.
Work Location
This role can be 5 days in the office or flexi/hybrid time.
