Choralis Consulting have instructions to recruit a Financial Accounting Assistant.
The Company: is a leading Hotel and Leisure business based in the city of London.
The Role: is to support the finance operations team with a broad range of accounting duties including:
- Account and credit card reconciliations
- Support income auditors and analysts by preparing data and reviewing revenue streams
- Ledger controls, cash books, bank reconciliations
- Assisting with the month/year end close off process
- Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations, management accounts and forecast/budget cycle
- Assisting the Financial Accounting Manager with Ad-hoc projects and financial reports
The person:
- Graduate, part qualified and currently studying (AAT or early stage ACCA/CIMA) with at least 2/3 years previous accounting experience
- Actively contribute to process improvements, automating routine tasks where possible, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly and professionally
- Self motivated, keen and eager to add value with excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for team collaboration and stakeholder interaction, proactive get involved approach
- Good all round Excel skills
