Regional Risk Manager (North of England based)
Purpose of the Role
As a Regional Risk Manager, you will ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and foster a strong safety culture across company and franchise restaurants. Supporting the Head of Risk, you will identify and address operational risks, particularly in health & safety, food safety, fire safety and brand standards. Your expertise as Regional Risk Manager will guide restaurant teams in maintaining best practices and compliance, contributing to Chopstix’s success.
As a Regional Risk Manager, you are an ambassador for our brand compliance. Your attention to detail and ability to coach in the moment will determine your impact and ability to support the success of our compliance standards across one system.

Key Responsibilities
- Implement and uphold brand health & safety strategies, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring all departments understand their responsibilities.
- Conduct compliance audits, assess adherence to brand standards, and provide action plans for improvement.
- Act as the primary contact for compliance issues, liaising with enforcement authorities as needed.
- Support restaurants with low food hygiene ratings, coaching teams to achieve a 5-star rating.
- Collaborate with Learning & Development to enhance health & safety training.
- Monitor and analyse compliance data, providing reports and recommendations.
- Ensure risk assessments are completed and maintained across all locations.
- Manage relationships with third-party compliance providers and auditors.
- Deliver training to restaurant managers and teams to enhance compliance knowledge.
Skills & Experience Required
- Based in Northern England
- Experience as a Brand Auditor, Regional Risk Manager, or similar role in QSR, hospitality, or retail.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, health & safety regulations, and risk management.
- Health & Safety and Food Safety Level 3 (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to analyse risk data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong communication, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused.
- Experience with compliance/audit management systems.
- Full UK driving license and flexibility to travel across the Northern region/Scotland
